Thanks to our fabulous team of horses and people, since we last spoke…
We’ve provided around 609 riding lessons to young people from low income backgrounds.
We’ve worked with 293 young people from regular members, visiting groups and local schools.
We’ve provided nearly 4000 hours of support included riding lessons, youth clubs and trips.
And that’s a wrap! Another fantastic summer at Ebony is coming to an end. Our youngsters are off to Hurlands next week (big thank you to Bob & Mia as ever) for a week of swimming, star gazing and of course lots of riding. The horses are definitely ready for a holiday, so they’ll all be enjoying a break soon enough. A slightly longer break shall be enjoyed by our wonderful Eddie, who is retiring to pastures new in the country after 4 years of incredible service to Ebony. He is a fantastic horse who has so much left to give and we can’t wait to see him thrive with his new person. He certainly deserves the best of the best! We’ve had some extra special visitors this summer and welcomed Moyross Youth Club over from Ireland after visiting them last summer. We had an amazing time hacking in Hyde Park and visiting the Royal Mews. We certainly showed them everything
Brixton has to offer!
We’ve played polo, visited Piggy March at her yard, painted fillers, cooked up a storm, visited the West End, completed countless Pony Club badges and so much more! Far too much to fit on a newsletter.
