Thanks to our fabulous team of horses and people, since we last spoke…
We’ve provided around 386 riding lessons to young people from low income backgrounds.
We’ve worked with 260 young people from regular members, visiting groups and local schools.
We’ve provided nearly 2000 hours of support included riding lessons, youth clubs and trips.
Somehow we’re already 1/4 way through 2024!
We’ve been busy hosting pyjama rides & horsey movie nights, running equestrian car boot sales and most crucially, had loads of fun already! Our horses had a very well deserved break after the Easter Holidays and were turned out as a big herd to enjoy being horses (and lots of grass). We’ve welcomed a new horse, Tom, who is a total Splash look-a- like! He’s going really well so far and is a very fun ride, so I’m told. Jane, our Volunteer Manager, has been working away and we’re now up to 60 (very) active volunteers who we simply could not do any of our work without.
