Hi, I’m Anne, I’ve worked in the charity sector for over 25 years and I’m thrilled to have joined Ebony and the Finance and Office Coordinator, a role that fulfils my love of animals and admin! I come from a skills training background, so I know the benefits of engaging and learning new stuff. Getting to work surrounded by horses in the middle of a busy city is an added bonus!

Hi I’m Ella, and I’m the newest member of the team here at Ebony. I started out my journey with Ebony as a peer mentor and now work as a Trainee Yard Coordinator. I love working with the horses, but mostly enjoy leading the groups of young people and helping them learn the ropes here at Ebony. I’m really passionate and hope to get my BHS qualifications soon to start my coaching journey.

Hello, I’m Jane. I’m the Volunteer Coordinator here at Ebony. Having been a volunteer at Ebony myself, I’m passionate about creating a good experience for our incredible team of volunteers, and making sure we have the people power we need to keep Ebony running smoothly! I love seeing our young people thrive and enjoy their time with the horses and the team!

Hey, I’m Maxim. I’ve been coming to Ebony since I was 8 and I’m now training to be a youth worker here. I love horses and seeing our young people interact with them – seeing our young people transform is amazing. I love sports and I’m also a qualified lifeguard. 

Hiya! I’m Rachel and I’m the Yard Manager here at Ebony. I also take care of the school’s who visit us as part of our RIDE Programme, & our Education Programme. I’m the biggest advocate for the power of horses and working with our herd to see positive changes in the mental and physical health of our young people. The difference a horse can have is truly amazing, and I love to watch our young people on their journey with our horses!

Hey, I’m Ruby! I joined Ebony in 2025 to complete my apprenticeship. I love working with horses and really enjoy the energy our young people bring to the club. I have a lot of fun working alongside our young riders, and supporting them along their learning journey as I complete mine. 

Heya, I’m Shanice! I’ve been involved with Ebony for over 20 years now, alongside my twin sister Sheneka. I help take care of our herd and also organise our work experience programme. I love to create fun and active sessions for our young people and bring a lot of energy to the yard! When I’m not at work you’ll find me riding somewhere!

Hiya! I’m Sheneka. I’ve been a part of the Ebony family for over 20 years now. I help take care of our ponies and also coach our senior riders. I love to ride as much as I can and I have a passion for seeing our riders become the best they can. 

Hello, I’m Sid and I’m the Chief Operating Officer here at Ebony. I’ve always worked in the Charity sector and I am passionate about serving communities to ensure equity in health and social care provision. I grew up with horses and have experienced first hand the positive impact they can have on young people facing complex challenges. As much as I love our ponies, what I really enjoy here at Ebony is seeing our incredible young people do amazing things!

Hey, I’m Theo. I came to Ebony for some work experience and never left. I’m now a member of the staff team and I’m currently working towards my BHS exams so I can coach some of our young people. You’ll usually find my dog Louie in the office with me – one of our many Ebony office dogs!
