Ride with Us
At Ebony Horse Club we are committed to supporting the local community and that is why all our riders come from the area around our centre in Brixton. We provide riding lessons and youth work support to young people from the age of 8 to 18 and our priority is to work with those young people who are most in need of our work. If you are a young person who would like to horse ride with us or know someone who would, please email [email protected] to see if we can get you in the saddle soon.

Volunteer with us
Without the skills and dedication of our volunteers, we simply could not operate. We are immensely grateful to all our volunteers for the time they give to contributing towards Ebony Horse Club’s success. We fully appreciate the value of volunteers and see what a difference they can make to our work and the young people we reach.
Our volunteers help out with all aspects of running the club from helping in the office, getting stuck in on the yard and working directly with our members. If you are interested in giving your time please email [email protected] and we will send you a volunteer application form. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have experience working with young people.
Fundraise with us
- £5,000 would sponsor a school group to ride for a whole year
- £300 would pay for a riding trip away from London for a our young riders
- £100 would cover the costs of hay to feed our hard working horses for a week
However big or small your donation we would be delighted to showcase our work to you, have you meet some of our young riders and show you just how you are helping us make a difference.

Partner with Us
Ebony Horse Club has strong relationships with a wide network of local partners, including our members, supporters, public and voluntary youth sectors. Partnership working is integral to what we do and helps us provide a more effective service to our young riders.
We are part of a the local consortium Building Young Brixton which is made up for nine local charities and reaches around 1200 young people collectively each year. Being part of the consortium allows our young people to access greater range of services and helps our team to share best practise.
We also work with a range of local schools; including SEND specialist schools and PRUs and a range of other services and organisations who refer young people to us or partner with us on projects.
