We’ve provided around 340 riding lessons to young people from low income backgrounds.
We’ve worked with 216 young people from regular members, visiting groups and local schools.
We’ve provided nearly 3000 hours of support included riding lessons, youth clubs and trips.
We’ve had a fabulous, fun filled Autumn term and despite only wrapping up our Summer operations a couple of months ago, we’re already looking forward to Christmas here at Ebony! The horses returned from their well earned Summer break and we got straight into lessons. We’ve added 2 new shools to our roster, supporting another 16 children a week through our RIDE programme. We’ve had another excellent October half term with lots of riding! We welcomed Lydia Heywood to the yard to lead a hack to local Ruskin Park and had an amazing day out to the Royal Mews, both incredibly special days for our young people. The team also came together to welcome Black Thrive & South London Refugee Association to the yard for their very own taster days, so hopefully we can tempt some new members! We said a final goodbye to the Sunshine with a trip to the beach for a beautiful hack, organised by our members and funded via some well deserved Jack Petchey awards!
