Thanks to our fabulous team of horses and people, since we last spoke…
We’ve provided around 400 riding lessons to young people from low income backgrounds.
We’ve worked with 238 young people from regular members, visiting groups and local schools.
We’ve provided nearly 1500 hours of support included riding lessons, youth clubs and trips.
Summer was jam packed full of activity, a particular highlight being our Community Day that saw over 650 people come through our doors throughout the day. Once our Community Fun Day was over, the real summer holiday madness began! We were incredibly lucky to once again be invited out to the country for both our wonderful day with Allegras Ambition, or Allegra’s day as we call it here to get summer started and our week long residential to Hurlands with Bob & Mia to wrap up the holidays. The horses stayed behind and had a lovely 2 weeks rest – they deserve it! We had great fun doing Cross Country at Mid Surrey, some Caribbean Cooking classes, a day trip to Hickstead and so much more! It’s been an incredible summer thanks to our wonderful team and we look forward to the new term here at Ebony as we wave off several members to University, and welcome some new faces! We’re very proud of our youngsters this year and can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve.
